Grant ran two complete Toyota Atlantic seasons in 2001 and 2002, earning two podiums and a pole position (Milwaukee, 2001)… Prior to Atlantic, Ryley competed in Star Mazda. In 2000, Grant finished second in the western division championship, including three wins, six podiums and three poles, as well as third overall in the Best Western National Championship Series… Began racing in 1997-1998, in the Skip Barber Western Series, taking with four wins and 10 podiums.
